CD Baby DIY Musician Conference to host Questlove and DMC
Distributor CD Baby has announced plans to take its DIY Musician Conference to Austin, Texas next month. The event will be held from 16-18 August with its blend of talks and workshops aimed at independent artists. There’ll be some star-quality on-stage too: Questlove from The Roots will be delivering a keynote on the tools and tech that can support musicians; DMC (out of Run-DMC!) will also be a keynote speaker, while fellow artists Alejandro Escovedo and Gina Chavez will also be talking at the event.
