Executive Turntable: Moves at Spotify, Big Machine Label Group, Sony & More

CD Baby announced Thursday (Aug. 30) that the company has hired Heli Del Moral as its first vp of international development. He will join the Portland team starting Tuesday, Sept. 4.

Del Moral will be building CD Baby’s business outside of North America and Europe. Previously, he worked at Disney as director of international marketing and promotion for ESPN and ESPN Desportes, driving profitability for the Latin America region, developing the European market, and supporting business growth in Australia, sections of Africa, Asia, and the Middle East.

“I believe that CD Baby is ideally positioned to expand its global reach and I am excited to wrok together with our international group to help artists around the world release their music, gain their independence and realize their dreams,” said Del Moral. “I can’t wait to see what we can achieve together.”
