Admission is FREE. The center of conversation will be focusing on music placement and how to make the right pitch to the right people that gets your music to a bigger audience. CD Baby’s DIY Musician Blog Editor Chris Robley will serve as moderator.
Chris Robley is an award-winning poet, songwriter, and producer. He is also the editor of CD Baby’s DIY Musician Blog and a frequent guest on the DIY Musician Podcast. His orchestral indie-pop music has been praised by The LA Times, KCRW, No Depression, The Boston Globe, Performer, and more. Robley’s poetry has been published in literary journals such as POETRY Magazine and Prairie Schooner.

He worked on the music creative and deal negotiation to bring together brands and artists like Sylvan Esso & Samsung, McDonald’s & Moon Taxi, Samsung & Lorde, and Sprint & Wilco.
BONNY DOLAN - Managing Director/Executive Producer at Comma Music
Bonny is a key figure between brands and bands in the areas of original music, supervision and licensing. Her work has been featured in hundreds of campaigns for iconic brands, such as Hershey’s, Apple, Nike, Coke, Nintendo, and Canon. Bonny is a governor for the Midwest Board of the Recording Academy.
IRA ANTELIS – Co-Founder/CEO, Artists & Brands/Jira Productions
Ira Antelis is a composer and music industry professional with more than 30 years of experience in the world of advertising and commercial music, as well as the co-founder of successful music-based venture Artists & Brands. He wrote “Be Like Mike” for Gatorade and has acted as the music director for Leo Burnett Worldwide for 11 years.
MELISSA CHAPMAN – CEO, Groove Garden
Melissa Chapman specializes in music supervision and licensing for film, advertising and other media. She has worked on campaigns for Hershey and the Vancouver Olympics, as well as cleared songs for the Sundance favorite “The Fits,” as well as “LOEV,” “Listen Up Philip,” “Donald Cried” and more. Groove Garden is an all-women operation specializing in music supervision and licensing.
